Bentara
Other Restaurants in Connecticut
A Malaysian pioneer in Connecticut, Bentara has been attracting neighborhood Yalies to its tables
for 15 years, a testament to its food and atmosphere. It’s perfect for a date, intimate dinner, or a
relaxed dinner with friends. Standouts on the menu include Roti Canai served with curry sauce.
It’s a superb appetizer to split with friends. The Kelantanese Kerutuk entrée, offered with beef,
chicken, or tofu, is a simmering mixture of spices (coriander, fennel seed, cinnamon, cardamom,
star anise and chilies) with baby potatoes and coconut milk. To top off the meal, check out
Bentara’s extensive wine list.
