Green Papaya is a handsome stand-alone restaurant with a roomy parking lot located in a busy
section of Bergen County, just a few blocks from the Riverside Square shopping mall on Route 4.
Green Papaya is 3 years old and thriving. Its kitchen harnesses the considerable skills of two
chefs well steeped in classic Malaysian dishes. One is from Kuala Lumpur, the other from Ipoh, the
fourth largest city in Malaysia. Together they produce Green Papaya’s succulent menu of dishes
reflecting Malaysia’s diverse cuisine, from satays to chili chicken, Beef Rendang and dozens more.
Bubble teas are a popular specialty of the house.
